Actually, what you're probably wondering is likely a bit more specific. Here's an attempt to describe what we do:
We take an existing community building system, called Drupal (found at www.drupal.org) and we customize it (to make it look like your community), we set it up how you want it, we host it (we put it on our servers so you don't have to go find a hosting company and so you don't have to worry about the technical details), we can help you add your data to it (we charge money for this though) and we'll even baby-sit it.
